Clan Rules

Clan Rules:

War Start Times:

3am Greenwich Mean time on Tuesday and Friday.

Failure to attack will result in a kick, so bounce to Athenas before the war starts if you are camping etc and wont be able to fight.

Donations:

Donate at least 1 troop for every 5 you receive. This rule takes effect once you have reached 50 troops received. (some leniency is allowed by arrangement)

Do not donate to war bases on war preparation day. UNLESS you are donating lvl5+ wizards, Valkyries,Lvl 2+ Dragons, Witches, lvl3+ minions and lvl5+ archers to fill remaining spots.

Only donate requested troops.

Request specifics. i.e. "I want healers or archers."

Elder for donating over 500 per season.

Elder also if you have more than 10 Pine trees on your base!

Demotion for less than 200 per season.

Demotions for elders and co leaders with donation ratio less than 1 in 3.

Kick for less than 50 per season.

Co Leaders based on leadership ability. Ask for it and risk being kicked.

War Base Design:

Town hall (TH) must be defended, not necessarily in the very middle, but within walls and defended.

Clan Castle (CC) has a white radius. This radius must be within Village limits. This usually means having it very close to centre.

Otherwise its up to you. Make your War base interesting.

Wars:

You must attack twice on war days, failure to do so may result in a kick.

Lower levels should attack first if possible.

If you know you will be unable to attack when it comes time, leave the clan BEFORE the war starts, and rejoin after the war has started!

Athenas Dragons is our other clan. Feel free to join it when you want.

If you leave during a war, you will not be welcome to return.

Targeting for Wars:

We want as many 3 stars as possible. We want as many stars as possible. So targeting matters. In general ask a co leader or leader who to attack!

Do not attack people who already have 2 or 3 stars. Unless told to.

Try to find the highest 2 opponents you can get 3 stars against, and attack them.

Request specific CC troops, use big armies, all spells and Kings etc

Pick your opponent by what suits your army, if you are using dragons/balloons, attack someone with poor air defense etc.

Failure to follow these rules may result in a kick.

War 2. And more importantly: Clan Castle and Base design.

So, War 2 was an improvement. The opponent was even and it was a tight fight down to the last man. Loss by 3 stars is painful, but we are getting better fast. Sadly a few inactive members let us down, and have been kicked for not fighting.
More people used better attacks, I still want to see less giants and archers. I want to see more Hog rushes, more dragon swarms and more wizards in general.
My only other point I want to add is that any enemy under 20 (i.e 20-40) should have a minimum of 2 stars. If they only have one, and you are fairly certain you can 3 star them go ahead. I would rather you make 1 star into 3 than attack up higher and get no or 1 star.

To Clan Castle placement, and general base design. If you have time, read this its brilliant:
http://www.clashofclans-tools.com/Base-Design-Guide

In terms of Clan Castle and how it should be positioned as well as luring out troops and how to attack with reference to Clan Castles. this is the best link I can find:

http://ultimateclashofclansguide.com/other/clan-castle/

There is no better links that I can find. Soooooo I will write my very own... Sort of.. In short. With pictures! Yay Paint!
Ok. So the rules are simple. Click on your Clan Castle and observe its radius. Now imagine you are the enemy attacking your base. How do you lure out your troops?
I have designed the following bases to explain in short how it works. The bases are not well designed and I am only showing them in relevance to CC.

If this is the design it is easy. You drop one or 2 troops on any of the red stars and the clan castle troops walk out get lured and killed:

If however we place the CC more centrally it becomes harder. In this next image, dropping barbs or giants on the red star will lure them out as the Barbs will walk towards the buildings and cause CC troops to come out. Giants can be placed on any of the Blue stars to easily lure as well, they will walk to the wall and the troops will come out. (this is perfectly fine for our clan, I will not kick anyone like this, but try to make it REALLY hard to lure)

In this picture it will be very difficult to get CC troops out, and this is the aim. If someone places Hogs at either red star it would lure troops... but that is costing them hogs. this would force most enemies to either not attack or have to fight your CC troops inside the base:

Now, you may ask... I am only  town hall 5 or 6... what do I do? The answer is the best you can. Make your CC central and try to stretch to the radius. This is an extreme option that will work at TH 5. I would suggest aiming to force the enemy to lure with Giants as in the second image above. If you want to try something like this, I would be very happy to see how it goes.

Ok. I hope that helps. Please do your best with CC placement!
Xx
Glorious Leader :p
